To defend against hydration, bring a water bottle -- or a couple -- on your flight and to the airport. Health experts advise 1 cup for every hour or so your flight is. So, if your flight is 5 hours long, you should have at least 5 bottles handy. Avoid jetlag by eating small meals and drinking plenty of water. Again, we can go back to the first tip above. One cup for every hour of the flight. Also, completely avoid alcohol while flying. These simple tips will help ease jetlag if not completely obliterate it. When traveling abroad, language barriers can be a hassle. It can also slow down your traveling time with in the country. When you reach your hotel or airport, remember to get the list of addresses from their phonebook. Of course, you could compile the list of places you will visit along with their address and have it ready before you even take flight. The ladder might be a better option. Don’t walk around with a lot of money. Obviously this is a no brainer, but people every year of victims of robbery and theft. Use a debit card with a pin rather than a credit card and remember to never look like your affluent (wealthy). Flashing money, clothes, jewelry will only catch the attention of criminals.
