| I have a quick story to share with you. I was once traveling to a exotic foreign country; I had a blast! However, the day I was preparing to leave, I packed my car and house keys in one of my luggage bags. Of course, what I thought was an impossible event -- losing my luggage-- transcended into reality. I was now stuck at the airport with no car keys and no house keys. You can imagine the headache that I had. You can avoid this and the other million mistakes that travelers make every year. Just follow these simple steps; make them into a checklist. That way, you can just write them down and check them off as you go. Tip Number One: Remember to have one bag for your carry-on luggage. This can be a duffle bag or backpack. Whatever you can carry and will fit you. You’re gonna stuff your i-absolutely-must-have items in it. Medications, documentations, papers, “keys”, and anything else that is a must. You wouldn’t leave you wallet in a luggage bag, would you? Tip Number Two: Personalize the rest of your luggage! Going to your local store and buying a on-sale luggage case might give you a problem. Why? Well, who is to say that your store didn’t sell the same luggage case to another 20-40 people? You should personalize your bag in some way that will make it unique to you! Change the color of the tags or you could glue some buttons on it. Anything that will open your eyes and cause you to recognize it. Tip Number Three: Your body needs to move! On your flight, remember to stretch or walk to the bathroom an back. This will insure that your body doesn’t become lazy and tired during your travels. Remember that these small and simple steps will help you have a headache free travel! There is no reason your travels should be full of problems and irritations! |
