7 Things to Remember When Traveling

1. Luggage
   • Remove any previous tags attached to your luggage.
   • Your luggage, including hand-carried, must have your proper identification.
   • Be prompt in bringing your luggage outside your room for collection at the designated time of “luggage out.”
   • Take care of your hand-carried bag at all times. Do not leave your luggage unattended at the airports and other places.
   • Make sure you are able to check if your luggage is among those lined up for loading in the bus.
   • Pack one or two sets of clothes in your hand-carried bag (this will come handy just in case your luggage is temporarily mislaid).
   • Keep luggage locked each time you leave your room and keep the keys where you can find them easily.
   • It is always advantageous to travel light.
2. Documents

• Keep a record of details of your travel documents and traveler’s checks/credit cards.
• Leave a copy at home or in your office.
• Double check your name in the tickets and make sure it matches with that in your passport.
• Hotels usually have safety deposit boxes for your valuables.
